Important Notes on Redmi K60E Flashing:

Disclaimer:  Before you start flashing your device, turn off any antivirus software or security programs on your computer to avoid accidentally deleting important files.

  • Flashing will wipe all your data, so make sure to back up your personal stuff like contacts and texts first.
  • Verify that your device model and ROM package match.
  • Charge your phone to at least 30% and use a good data cable. If you’re on a desktop, use a USB port at the back.
  • Don’t move your phone, restart the computer, or cut the power during the flashing process to avoid messing things up. Stick to the tutorial and tool instructions closely.
  • Some devices, like Xiaomi, require unlocking the bootloader before flashing, so check if your phone is unlocked.
  • Install drivers before flashing; if you skip this, flashing might not work.

Also, keep in mind that flashing can only address software issues such as firmware upgrades, downgrades, and problems caused by software updates. If you’re dealing with a hardware problem, it’s best to get professional repair help.

>> How To Flash Redmi K60E Firmware Rom:

Step 1: Unlock the Bootloader on your phone if you haven’t already. (Skip this step if it’s already unlocked; otherwise, unlock it first.)

Step 2: Go to the drivers folder and double-click to install the driver.

Step 3: Open the MiFlash2018-5-28-0 folder and launch XiaoMiFlash.

Step 4: Install the driver. To do so: Click on “Driver” > “Install”

Step 5: Configure the files.

(1) Click “Select” (as shown by arrow 1).
(2) Choose the ROM package folder: XS_Redmi_K60E_12 (as indicated by arrow 2).
(3) Hit “OK” (as pointed out by arrow 3).
(4) In the bottom-right corner, pick the “All delete” (arrow 4).

Step 6: Turn off the phone and hold the volume down key and power button to enter fastboot mode. Then connect your phone to the computer with a USB data cable.

(1) Click “Load Device.”
(2) Then click “Flash.”

Once the flash works, the phone will restart automatically. (You can also manually restart it.) The page below means successful flashing.

PS: The first boot might take a bit longer, so be patient. If the flash fails, try the troubleshooting methods below.

Flashing Port Driver Issues

If the MiFlash progress bar shows a few seconds of loading and an error (e.g., as shown in the image), it might mean the flash didn’t work (progress bar showing 0 seconds or prompts saying “回声不匹配”). Follow these steps:

(1) For MTK chipsets, a normal PC port shows Android BootLoader Interface.
(2) For incorrect ports, right-click, choose Update Driver, and browse for driver software on your computer. Pick “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer” and choose Android BootLoader Interface. If that doesn’t work, restart your device and check if the device manager shows an exclamation mark. If it does, update your drivers and try flashing again.

For Qualcomm chipsets, flashing should display “9008” on the PC port (make sure to install drivers from the ROM package before flashing and restart your computer afterward).

PS: Sometimes it takes a few tries to get a successful flash.
